Deacon James Dudley
Deacon
Deacon James Dudley has a long history with us at Regina Coeli Catholic Church dating back to his parents who were charter members of the parish. When Regina Coeli Catholic School opened he started attending in 3rd grade and later graduated from the school in 1961. He later married his beloved wife and best friend, Barb, in 1961 here as well. Following in Deacon Jim’s footsteps, both of his daughters also graduated from Regina Coeli Catholic School. Deacon Jim was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 1987, but was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector before ordination. Him and his wife spent 20 years as members of the Pre-Cana ministry as well. Over the course of Deacon Jim’s time at Regina Coeli he witnessed marriages, baptized children, and officiated at Funerals and committal services. Although he was granted senior status a few years ago, he does still help us out around the parish.
John 15:16
“It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.”
